I love making people happy and helping in any way I can. I have been told I’m very generous with my time, resources etc. I will ALWAYS do whatever I can to help anyone who needs it. If I’m not working, you’ll find me taking my son to the zoo, swimming, or binge watching my favorite tv show. I love drinking coffee and going on long drives in the country. Country music is my jam. I started Tidy Maid in mid 2022 when I realized there was a high demand for house cleaners in Peterborough. With my passion for cleaning, values, and desire to help others, I set out forming my company. It is more then just a company however- it is an extension of family. Had her in to clean my kitchen, She did an amazing job! She moved everything and cleaned under everything. Definitely does an amazing job at cleaning. I found that a deep clean for 1 room did take a bit longer than I thought it should, but I am no expert. I found booking with her a little challenging as it needed to be rescheduled a couple of times. She was friendly, bubbly, and got straight to work! Left my kitchen sparkling clean!
Emilia is so kind, and got my home clean and smelling absolutely amazing, including my sons yucky room! She did a great job and used products that smell great and aren't harsh. I definitely recommend her for your cleaning needs you won't be disappointed.
Emilia was great. I was very overwhelmed after our move and she helped me unpack and organize everything. This is my second appointment with her. The first one she did a through move in clean of all cupboards and appliances and walls. I couldn't have been more pleased. The booking process was easy and communication was very fast. I had TidyMaid do a main floor deep clean for me and first thing I thought when I came home was that it smelled so nice and clean. She was not only polite and professional while she was in my house, but also took the time to go through the house with me to help decide where her services would impact me the most! I run at daycare out of my home so I had Emilia come in to do a deep clean, she also helped me rearrange and organize my childcare set up. I swear after she was done my house was sparkling. I did tours with prospective parents after and they all commented on how clean my home was and how fun the childcare area was! We had Emilia do our bathroom today, and my first thought when I saw her work was "I didn't know my tiles were that white!" She cleaned literally everything; bathtub, mirrors, walls, shelves, windowsill, EVERYTHING. I kept lifting bottles and running my fingers along surfaces looking for a spot she missed, and there was nothing. She got it all! Her products were super effective, but still safe for my pets and kids, and there's absolutely no harsh chemical smell. In fact, my bathroom is now the best smelling room in the house, so I'm sitting on the bathtub ledge with my laptop right now just to enjoy it.I also noticed Emilia did a few extra things in my (terribly messy) kitchen even though I never asked or expected her to. What a great surprise! This is someone who goes above and beyond, and seems to take a lot of pride in her work. I don't think there's any possible way you could be disappointed with her.

Emilia spent a total of 20 hours in our home on October 3rd, 5th, and 7th doing a "deep clean" and we are just delighted with the results. Our house didn't look that bad but we knew we needed help. We are in our mid-seventies with some mobility, not to mention energy, issues. Kneeling is a problem for both of us so keeping on top of the floors and bathrooms has been difficult the last few years. Emilia worked on the floors and got them back to their original look. The grout lines are now back to their original cream instead of grey! She did a total clean from the top down, windows and blinds, doors and trim. The picture posted on October 4th is from above our kitchen cupboards. She also worked her magic on the tops of all our bookcases. I can't remember when our house looked so good and smelled so fresh. We have booked Emilia to come back for 3 hour bi-weekly visits to help keep these smiles on our faces.
Em is always a pleasure to visit with. She does a very good job when she cleans my house. She always helps me out with doing extra things for me like taking my garbage and recycling out, carrying my laundry for me and doing the dishes. She always does a very thorough job and isn't satisfied until it looks "perfect". I am an older person who has health conditions and it is hard for me to get around and clean my house. Emilia is very talented with her work. She has excellent organizational skills and works hard. She's lovely to be around, is a good person and deserves all the praise. She helped me clean my apartment every week, has fair rates and always leaves my apartment feeling fresh and brand new. I'm obsessed with how thorough Emilia cleans. She truly puts her blood sweat and tears into making my home clean. We have two labs and they shed a lot and she always leaves my house completely hair less. Which doesn't last long but it's so nice. I always get her to clean my kitchen.
